Phrase cards during the lesson
When your teacher introduces a phrase, it appears on your screen as a card labeled "Say this" — so you can read the line while you practice saying it, instead of holding it all in your ear.
- The phrase itself, in the language’s native script.
- A romanized pronunciation guide when the language does not use the Latin alphabet.
- The English meaning.
Earlier phrases stay within reach
On desktop, earlier cards stack above the current one. On a phone, they collapse into small chips under the card — tap any chip to bring that phrase back up. If the teacher feeds you a line mid-roleplay or answers a "how do I say...?" question, that phrase gets a card too.
After the lesson, every phrase you practiced live is saved to your Phrasebook under "Practiced live" — including the improvised ones that came up mid-scene.
