This is the unit’s checkpoint: one roleplay that puts the unit’s scenes together.

The lines

Asking for your size

Every clothes purchase starts here: '¿Lo tienen en la talla M?' The same pattern gets you a colour, too: '¿Lo tienen en negro?'

¿Lo tienen en la talla M?

“Do you have it in a medium?”

When to use it: Item in hand, at the rail or the counter

What you’ll hear back: Sí, ahora mismo se lo traigo. (Yes, I'll bring it right away.)

Paying by card

Check before they ring you up with '¿Puedo pagar con tarjeta?' If the answer is no, you already know the fix: 'Pago en efectivo.'

¿Puedo pagar con tarjeta?

“Can I pay by card?”

When to use it: At the till, just before paying

What you’ll hear back: Sí, sin problema. ¿Quiere el ticket? (Yes, no problem. Do you want the receipt?)
