Field missions: one real thing each week
A field mission is one small thing to do in real life in the language you are learning, written for your level and your goal, with three tips. It is something you can do from home or nearby. There is a new one each week for every language you learn.
Where to find it
- On your home screen, with your other cards for the day (in the seven languages with a learning path).
- On the Tools page, under "This week".
Rehearse, then do it
Choose "Rehearse it (2 min)" to practice first in a short live scene made from your mission. Your coach sets the scene in one sentence, plays the other person while you do the task once, and gives you one line of feedback. A rehearsal lasts two minutes at most. It uses your practice time for the minutes it runs, or one of your free sessions if you have none. Then go and do it for real.
Tell your coach
Afterwards, choose "Tell the coach how it went" and write a few lines about what happened. Your coach answers with short feedback and a few phrases for next time, and the mission is marked done. We keep what you wrote with the feedback, and you can read the feedback again on the Tools page that week.
Not this week? Choose Skip, and a new mission comes next week. Field missions do not count toward your tool limit.
