Your voice capsule: hear how far you have come

Your voice capsule is a short recording of you answering one question in the language you are learning: "Tell me about yourself". Say whatever you can. Record it again each month, and you will hear the difference. It does not use practice time.

Record a clip

• Open Voice capsule in your account menu (the round button with your initial, top right). When your first clip or your monthly one is due, a card on your home screen offers it too.
• Choose Start recording and talk for up to 90 seconds, then Stop recording. Listen back, Re-record if you like, then choose Save recording.
• A clip needs at least 2 seconds, and you can save one clip a day in each language.
• Your next clip is due 30 days after your latest one. You can also choose "Record another one now" before then.

Day one and now

Your first clip and your latest one sit side by side, with bars that show how long each one is and how many words and sentences you said. Play them one after the other to hear your progress. Older clips are listed below, and "Show what you said" opens the words Linguino picked up.

Private, and yours to delete

Voice capsule clips are the only recordings of your voice that Linguino keeps. They are stored privately with what you said, play through private links that expire after a few hours, and stay until you delete them. Delete any clip on the Voice capsule page. Deleting your account deletes them all.
